Shortly after the opening of the new Food Technology Center in Rödermark (see also news at http://www.bakingbiscuit.com/newsview/items/new-technical-center-at-zeppelin-reimelt-gmbh.html), the first customer seminar took place at Zeppelin Reimelt GmbH, Rödermark, Germany. On 26th and 27th June 2012, about 60 participants received information about “material handling in the food industry”, covering topics including pneumatic conveying, mixing of solid matters, continuous production of sourdough and dough, process control and tracing and tracking of batches. After the theoretical part, a tour through the technical hall was conducted where the engineers of Zeppelin Reimelt demonstrated dense phase conveying tests with conveying vessels and rotary valves, exact metering of batches with the discharge and metering module of Kokeisl, container handling based on the ReciPure® concept and mixing of solid matters.
