The trade fair ProSweets Cologne 2012, which is held from 29th January to 1st February 2012, has more than 300 registrations from exhibiting companies from 32 countries; the participation level of the 2010 event – 326 suppliers from 29 countries – has already almost been equalled. Around one quarter of the exhibitors will present their products and services in Cologne for the first time, with over 58% of the exhibiting companies coming from abroad. The exhibition space will also be increased: the registrations and larger stand spaces booked so far correspond to a growth of 5%.
The trade fair will present the entire range of products offered by suppliers for the production, processing and packaging of confectionery. This includes the product areas for raw materials and other ingredients, confectionery packaging and packaging technology, machines and plants for the confectionery industry, and secondary segments such as food safety and quality management. And for the first time in 2012, products for the production, processing and packaging of snack items will be exhibited at ProSweets Cologne. One supplier, for example, is the Norevo GmbH Company from Hamburg, Germany. The company will present on booth D/E 42/43, Hall 10.1, the multifunctional “Confectionery Performers” for gumming, polishing, glazing, sealing, oiling, anti-sticking, souring agents and texturants without gelatine. Furthermore, Norevo develops, produces and supplies specialty ingredients matching the highly demanding industrial requirements of confectionery manufacturers.
