The OPTIMA packaging group GmbH from Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, introduced Martin Sauter as the new General Sales Manager of the Consumer Division on 9th September 2011. He will be responsible for the global distribution of packaging machinery for the food, chemical and cosmetic industries. His competencies include project planning, project management and after-sales service. Sauter (39) is from Crailsheim, Germany, and has gained his professional experience in various business segments of the Würth Group. In 2000, he changed to IPS, a subsidiary of Gerhard Schubert GmbH in Crailsheim, where after five years he was promoted to Head of Sales.
