ESA: savoury snack production course

The European Snack Association from London, UK, will hold the “Savoury Snacks Production Course – Part 1” in London from 16th–17th April 2012. The intensive education course will cover the production of potato chips & savoury snacks from raw materials to formed products. Thus, the European market for savoury snacks, trends and drivers will be introduced and the manufacturing processes for potato chips, extruded, pellet and sheeted snacks will be explained. Other topics are the food safety aspects as well as the product quality. On Monday, 16th April, the main subject is potato chips, while on Tuesday and Wednesday extruded snacks will be on the schedule. The course combines classroom lectures from leading experts in the savoury snacks industry with practical interactive sessions as appropriate.
